Hello everyone! Well, I know I haven't blogged in a while, so I guess I'll just give you a nice little update if you don't mind. Over the weekend I went camping with my entire family to Camp Pendleton, Lake O Neill, down in San Diego for my mom's High School Reunion. It was pretty cool seeing my mom's friends from the Santa Cruz Academy (private school) in the Philippines. My mom actually admitted to cheating on tests in school on camera. Tsk tsk...oh well. Now I guess I know where I get it from, eh? Hehehe...Anyways, I also caught some lady on tape pickin' her nose...it was hilarious. It was like five minutes of thorough nose-picking FUN!!! But I should edit it out before my mommy gets mad at me. :) Oh well. Well, we did some usual things like played with little kids and baby-sat them, played in the little play place in the sand, played volleyball, there were boats you could ride over the lake, and there was a miniature golf course. My favorite part was feeding the ducks CHEETOS. Besides, they looked starved. I did them a favor. There was NO sign what-so-ever about not feeding the ducks, but there was one sign that said, "PLEASE DO NOT THROW ROCKS AT THE DUCKS." I found it a teeny bit odd that they'd put that sign up and neglect a simple sign saying "Please Do Not Feed The Ducks." It was pretty fun, except for the trip coming home because the 605 freeway was closed, so we were stuck in like, three hours of traffic. *shudder* So yeah, my experience at really camping in a tent was pretty damn awesome. Even if there were funny noises in the night and holes and lumps in the ground right under where I slept. I love learning things and having new experiences with nature. I just find it fascinating sometimes just to sit and look at things like flowing water, birds, the sky, or even watching a flower open in the early morning with dew forming upon its fresh, new, petals. If I could ever wake up that early. xD YEAH RIGHT. So anyways, lately I've been going to Basketball practice, learning the tricks of the trade, and I'm pretty damn pleased with my time of running the mile today (9:39). One of my fastest ever. Especially during the summer, eh? Eh? I plan to improve that. And my ball handling. :( That ain't goin' so well neithuh. Hehe..so yeah, July 4th is coming up pretty soon--anyone doing anything? Well, the Chan Clan is planning to go to the beach and yeah. My dad was like, trying to make excuses, so my mom was just like, "Fine, nevermind...we'll just go without you." And I was like OUCH, but like, GO MOM, at the same time. It was funny. It feels weird. Did I tell you guys already? My mom and dad were arguing about me in the car one time (this was quite a while ago) and they were talking about us and critisizing but we were like...right there in the back seat. It was...messed up. The final straw for me was when my dad was like, "Yanno, it would have been better if she had been a boy. I'd be fine with everything. But no." I was just like...oh...my....gosh. It really killed me that he wanted me to be ...of the opposite gender. I dunno why he said that, but he was like, pounding the wheel when he said it, and he seemed pretty serious. I dunno why I'm telling you all this, but yeah. That's what he said. ANYWAYS, if anyone is going out anywhere like to the movies or out to a mall somewhere, please, PLEASE rescue me!!! (*coughMARKcough* That's your cuuueee) Oh yeah, and if anyone is taking DESIGN over the summer besides me, PLEASE let me know. I have a feeling I'll be ina room full of strangers. *gulp* Well, that's all I can think of for now. Update ya'll later when I can think of other things to bore you with. And honestly, if my posts are too long and boring, just TELL ME and end all the pain and suffering. Okie dokie?
